Day in the Life
We want students to see what a day at Warriors of Grace Karate is like. Everything we do is structured – from our Little Ninjas program to Adult Karate classes. While class times differ between programs, we follow a structure that allows all our students to thrive in class.
Class Length
- Ninjas – 30 minutes
- Tigers – 30 minutes
- Warriors – 30 minutes
- Juniors – 45 minutes
- Adult – 90 minutes
- Black Belt Club – 45 minutes
- Leadership Program – 15 minutes
Starting the Day: Mat Chat
The Mat Chats are a time where we briefly talk to students about things that translate on and off the floor. We take biblical concepts and share the life lessons that can come from it. For us, it’s important to help students become better people and martial artists. Each week there is a new theme for students to reflect on and apply in their day-to-day lives.
(15-30 minutes)
Drill #1
Fundamental Training around Kata
The duration of drills depends on the class. We make sure to introduce students to the basics to start class every day. This allows them to get into rhythm and prepare for the rest of the class.
(15-30 minutes)
Drill #2
Application of Kata
We continue our training from our first drill into the second drill. This is where students can practice their training with a fellow student or their parent(s) in the younger classes. It’s a great way to progress throughout the day.
Drill #3
Competition inspired
Our final activity is different for each program. It may be a different Karate technique or challenge. But we do like to make it fun. We usually make it a competition among students to build up their competitive spirit. We end the day on a fun note and help them prepare for the next class.
Train like a warrior. Live with purpose. Walk in grace.

Our
Daily Mission

Most parents come to us looking for a great after-school activity, but what they really want is a partner in raising a child who is confident, disciplined, and kind. At Warriors of Grace Karate, we use world-class Karate as a vehicle for character development. By combining age-specific instruction and small class sizes with a curriculum rooted in a Biblical worldview, we don’t just teach kids how to move – we teach them how to lead, how to listen, and how to live with integrity. We’re here to start a conversation about your child’s potential, and it all begins with their first class.
