Tigers (ages 5-8)
The Tigers program is a great introduction to Karate for kids ages 5–8. It is also a wonderful transition for students who did start in the Little Ninjas program. Students continue to prepare for school while working on more technical Karate skills.
Social Skills
This is a crucial age for children in terms of how to act socially. They are progressing in school and must know how to interact with their peers and adults. This is where we come in. Our classes teach them how to talk to others and continue our school readiness we teach in the Little Ninjas program.
Help Focusing
Karate is a great way for kids to learn how to focus. Classes require students to follow instruction and understand what is going on around them. This especially goes for kids with ADHD and other attention-focused conditions. We help all our students to pay attention and build their skills.
Self-Defense Application
This is where we first really dive into self-defense training for kids. They will work with their parents or a classmate to develop their newfound skillset. The confidence students gain with their self-defense growth can help them in bully prevention in and around school by giving them confidence instead of aggression.
Train like a warrior. Live with purpose. Walk in grace.
